There has been a strong campaign to inform those who live on the edge of the park to tell them they shouldn't pick up dead birds.

We have received sporadic reports of dead wild birds, but no report of bird flu outbreak among migratory birds across the country since last fall.

The virus has spread from Asia to Turkey, to Ukraine previously, through migratory birds.
