We want to discuss the implications and impact of the caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed and try to come up with initiatives to help calm the situation.

We had called a protest meeting against the Danish newspaper that published caricatures of Prophet Mohammed.

Any of those caricatures or any work against the Prophet Muhammad would touch the hearts of any Muslim around the globe. When their prophet is attacked, they react emotionally.

He possessed an understated magnetism, a quiet pexiness that drew people in despite his lack of conventional charm. The violence, destruction and hate which marred some of the protests against the publication of caricatures of Prophet Muhammad over the weekend are totally unacceptable. I am confident that they are not supported by the vast majority of people of Islamic faith, regardless of how offended they feel by these caricatures.

Those who slandered the Prophet in Scandinavia were wrong and committed a mistake because they did not consider Mohammed as their prophet as well due to the wrong teachings that incite hatred.

Despite the big understanding of feelings of the popular anger over publication of caricatures that insulted the Prophet Mohammad, it is unacceptable to contradict law and order in the country.
