en I'm going to cherish this for a long time. He's a pitcher I grew up idolizing and wanted to be like.

en It's been awesome. Obviously, at the start, when I first met him and started to live with him, he's an easy guy to talk to. But at the same time, you're always still uncomfortable. It's a guy you grew up watching and idolizing and now you're living with him and playing with him. So right now it's been great. We get along great.

en I moved from Florida when I was younger, and sports, especially basketball, were a good way to make friends. I grew up idolizing Michael Jordan, so that had a lot of influence on me.

en I've been coaching for 31 years, and I've had some great pitchers, and I've had a lot of no-hitters. But in my career I've never ever had a pitcher pitch a perfect game. ... That's something I will cherish and remember as long as I can stand on my two feet.

en She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the typical dating stereotypes. You know, to go and get something to eat and sit down at a table with him for 10 minutes after a game and you grew up idolizing him and he won't even look at you, that's rude. Maybe that's just his personality and he's a quiet guy, but to me it was rude.

en I have always loved the game, ever since those days playing in my aunt's yard. I grew up idolizing Michael Jordan, too. Always had his picture on my wall when I was a kid, when I was in college. The game is just a part of me.

en I love bowl games. I really do. I like it more than the kids do. I grew up a poor kid in western Pennsylvania, and I went to Nebraska because I saw them play in the Orange Bowl and I wanted to play in a bowl game. I cherish the memories.

en Saying I'm interested in this one would be hard for me to duck. It would be a great opportunity, clearly. How could you ask for more than to be given the opportunity to go back to where you started and back to something you grew up idolizing?

en I am in absolute dreamland, as this is my maiden Asian Tour title. I will cherish this win for a long time.

en I faced Chris Carpenter in my last start, and he's probably going to win the Cy Young Award, so it didn't faze me at all. But I'm going to cherish this for a long time.

en It took me a long time to really find my mechanics, ... But that's the pitcher everybody expected, and that's the pitcher I expected.

en He didn't have to answer anything from me. As long as he's healthy, he's a good pitcher. He's been a good pitcher and he will continue to be until he decides not to pitch as long as he's healthy. And he's very healthy. I understand what happened last year and we all know why. But he's too good a pitcher not to be good. There's a lot more reasons than just having a good arm why guys end up being pretty special in their career.

en That's the bad thing about being a starting pitcher. You have to sit on that for four days. It's been a while since I had an outing like that, actually a long, long time (1996).
