There is a tremendous amount of land out that way, and we're trying to establish public and private partnerships to make sure infrastructure is in place.

These things don't work unless there's some public-private partnership there. The notion that any of this money is just lining our pockets is just erroneous. They're (the county and city) taking over the land, just the way they do with any other private enterprise. . . . This just happens to be more public because it's private sports.

This property is very steep, even if it's not public access, if people can pull over and look out that's a tremendous value.

This is a model for the way private and public partnerships should work.

Public-private partnerships are the only way to do projects of this scope.

We hear a lot of talk about public-private partnerships, and in its own way this is a perfect example.

We're working on that, trying to secure public-private partnerships to help out our Little Leagues.

It allowed us to build this project. It could not be done without it. Public/private partnerships do work.

Public-private partnerships provide flexibility in allowing an agency to pay for an asset over time. This, combined with the inability to use traditional lease-purchase agreements due to tighter federal budget guidelines in an era of rising government spending, provides those federal departments that have the authority to enter into these types of partnerships an avenue to meet their expanding capital requirements.
