Really, we're working on getting the Trojans better. We're not where we want to be. Our players, our coaches aren't satisfied with how things have been going.

It is definitely possible on the Mac and on any platform to create an application and try to pretend that it is something that its not. That's the definition of Trojans. There are Trojans in the world, I have yet to see a successful one on the Mac, but there are such things in the world as Trojans.

I think it would be a waste. Why would you do that? The coach had nothing to do with dropped balls, missed tackles or nothing like that. Everyone just has to get on the same page. This is the best team I've been on. All we have to do is just get it right. We could bring in 10 new coaches, but 10 new coaches aren't going to do anything for nobody if all the players aren't on the same page.

We're still working on it, but we're hoping to have it up and running soon. We think it will be a great tool for players, coaches and parents, because it will help them access information. One of the things we have been trying to do over the past year is improve the lines of communication between the executive, parents, coaches and players, and we think the website will be a great way of helping with that communication. He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room. We're still working on it, but we're hoping to have it up and running soon. We think it will be a great tool for players, coaches and parents, because it will help them access information. We still have to improve on some things. Our full-court defense for one. We aren't satisfied with our season yet. We know we have to improve, and we keep working every game.

They are some awesome players. Unfortunately, we don't have them here with the Trojans, but I wish them the best of luck throughout their season at UNLV. I know for a fact they're going to make things happen there.

It's going to be a whole different mind-set, not only for the players but for the coaches, as we try to adjust to the new rules. Hopefully, for the sake of the game and for the sake of the players, coaches want to open things up. Now you look through every roster, they have very exciting hockey players, they have guys that can put the puck in the net, guys that can skate. Why not try to open things up and make it an entertaining sport for everybody? I think that's going to have to be the case.

But our coaches and players were not satisfied with the season by any means. That's the expectation we have.

Many of them are among the better players in the conference. You don't see coaches going overseas to bring back guys who aren't going to play. They have to be high-level players.

Two years ago, San Diego was garbage. They kept the same coach, did the same things and got it together. The coaches here had nothing to do with dropped balls, missed tackles ... this is the best team I've been on. Everybody just has to get on the same page. All we've got to do is get it right. Ten new coaches aren't going to do anything for anybody.

I wouldn't panic too much, I would say to the people out there, ... We as players aren't panicking, the coaches aren't panicking, and that's the most important thing.

It's a great win. We're happy to be 2-0. But I don't want our kids to think that we as coaches or them as players can be satisfied. We just have to play with a sense of urgency.

[While some coaches believe the changed environment spells doom and gloom for college golf, others aren't quite as pessimistic.] There are so many great players out there that are untapped, ... Maybe it's international [golfers] or kids that didn't [play in] the AJGA. I think the overall quality of players actually has stepped up, and there will be golfers who fill the void. This will be an opportunity for more players to shine.

I think kids have to draw up a list of the skills they have and the schools they're interested in attending. Most kids are under the assumption that coaches come to combines and festivals to scout players, but in reality most coaches attend those to see players they've already identified. So players actually need to contact the coaches and visit the schools.

We had a tough time blocking, tackling, and didn't do a good job as coaches and players, ... We didn't open up enough holes and sustain enough blocks on offense. It's always a combination of things, and we just need to keep working and get better.
