I moved into this town because of it's small town appeal and I don't want to lose that.' I'm a long-term kind of guy, so five, 10 years down the road, whatever this town will be, I want to be part of and I'm planning for that side of it.

en For those folks in town, this is a good environment with some good soccer to watch.

en One of the big factors was one of the largest conventions in town is not in town. Those folks used the system heavily.

en We have a lot of historical sites in town for people to see. We think this will bring even more traffic in through town.

en Traffic right now is one of the focal points of about every interest group we talk to. We already hired our traffic consultants and the town is also concerned with the environment, including water supply, public safety and schools.

en The stretch from McDonald's to the next traffic light is a race track, ... They're training for Indianapolis most of the time. A number of times we've asked for the possibility of a traffic light, somewhere in between. Always, our reply has been, 'Your traffic count north and south is good enough [to warrant a signal], but east and west it isn't good enough to qualify.'

en After attending a number of events myself, I believe there may be more opportunities to bring events into town during the day. I think that foot traffic could drastically increase if there were more autograph-signings in town, a big-air contest at Aspen Mountain, a competitors art exhibition, etc.

en Realistically, the folks on that board may put up one or two houses a year. We also know there is additional property at Sharon Ridge to build some more affordable housing if the Sharon Housing Authority wants to go in that direction. We have to keep working folks in town instead of just retirees.

en Ave Maria town is a town open to all, welcomes all, and we feel diversity is good for Ave Maria town. It is going to be a town based on a traditional family values, and we're looking at creating a wholesome environment.

en There's been a lot of emotion that we haven't seen in other Town Council elections. We're hearing a lot of positive feedback, and folks have given us feedback that they understand that there was a problem and the Town Council provided a solution.

en My strategy, because I was out there about last, was to go out there, open up a space and let the traffic get ahead of me. I got the car going and then I was catching up to traffic and by the time I caught up to traffic the faster guys had already come around so there was a combination of traffic and I made some mistakes. It was hard to get some clean laps in.
