en What is disturbing to me is if you look at health care along the border, it is that we rank 51st in the border counties in providing health care. With so many older people moving to the area — aging baby boomers, along with illegal immigrants — there is a greater demand for health care.

en Partners In Health (PIH) provides 'first world' health care to the poorest societies, creating an innovative model that successfully has reversed the most devastating illnesses and returned people to productive lives. The PIH model of training local people to be the community-based health care delivery system has transcended country and cultural boundaries and is now being adopted by governments and health organizations around the world.

And certainly, with the Baby Boomers aging, people living longer, the advances in science and health care, we think that Sunrise Assisted Living is doing a great job growing their earnings and the stock price looks good to us for the long term.

en Today's older Americans are very different from their grandparents, living longer with lower rates of disability, with higher rates of education and garnering more wealth.

en As we get older, bereavement, illness, physical impairments, as well as living far away from family members, could cause any one of us to be isolated - which can lead to loneliness and ill health in older people.

en We can't wait for universal health care any longer, not while we see uninsured people continue to die because they don't get health care early enough, not while thousands of others lose everything they have because of a major illness.

en These are complicated issues, ... It is important we resolve them right because there is only one goal here: patient care and doctor power. That's what has made America's health-care system great. And that's where we have to end up. And if it takes a day or two longer, if it takes a week or two longer, if it takes a month longer, that is not the issue.

en Older adults should do more reps with smaller weights. This will build strength, increase balance and prevent loss of bone density. And those are all important health concerns for older people.

en Since people are going to be living longer and getting older, they'll just have to learn how to be babies longer.

en Over 200 classrooms from across the state participated in this contest. It gave students a good way to compete and learn about brushing habits and nutrition. Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. Oral health education is overlooked. It affects whole body health.

en Usually, what I hear (from other families) is 'I'm getting older, my parents are getting older, and we can no longer watch or take care of a 40-something who can't be forced to take their medicines'. It's hard for them.
