en We've got to win (today) to stay in the district race.

en That was a pretty tough race for us today. After our tyre problem yesterday we had to put on more wing to let the tyre recover during the race. But the car was very difficult to drive all race, especially early on. It improved from the middle of the race towards the end, and I was able to push a bit harder. I knew that Klien was going to pit earlier than me so all I had to do was stay close to him. Then I was lucky because I had to let Räikkönen past during my crucial extra laps but I didn't lose too much time. After all that, one point is better than nothing.

en The race is definitely a high-intensity race. You have to stay patient. I've got one win there, but many tough finishes. I hope we're able to stay out of trouble in the pits and put together a good finish.

en My thoughts before a big race are usually pretty simple. I tell myself: "Get out of the blocks, run your race, stay relaxed. If you run your race, you'll win... channel your energy. Focus."

en It'd be nice to go over there (Plano) and win. But even if we do, we still have six district games left. There's still a tight race going on in our district.

en We can compete with Silver. Getting a district win under us sure helps in terms of gaining confidence and building momentum in a three-team district race.

en What Delaware needs to stay competitive is a whole new scene, and that is to create a entertainment district in Wilmington. And that entertainment district is a lot more than slot machines and parking lots. That entertainment district [would be] world-class jazz, R&B, rock 'n' roll, comedy acts and casinos run by top-notch casino operators.

en I didn't tell the kids this, but pulling into today this was really a must-win for us if we were going to stay in the conference race. You go down two games to them and have to go to their place later and you're not out of it yet, but you've really built yourself an uphill battle.

en I want to run it. If it's up to me, and he's leaving it open, I'd love to run this race. I think it's one of those races that you just need to stay consistent. en I think this race is going to be aggressive. There are a number of teams out there that have solid riders that are going make the race fast. They aren't going to sit in the pack and have the slower (teams) stay around. From the start, this race is going to be played out to be one of the fastest races in recent years.

en This one is a huge monkey off our back, competing against a district rival and getting a win. And then just getting a win in general in a very tough district — we're back in the race.

en Once the process was started by the desire to buttress Republican districts, the question still is regardless of that, how cognizant of ethnicity can you be in crafting a district. How distorted can a district become when the purpose is to capture a particular race or ethnicity?
