I spoke with Bruno this morning and I'll tell you what I told him. He didn't lose the job. He did everything he could. If his attitude stays the same it always is with him -- upbeat, you never question his effort -- he'll be fine. Bruno has a future with us.

It turns out that when you let people know what other people think, the popular things become more popular. But at the same time, it becomes harder to predict what will be popular.

I don't know if I'd want to do it (race wheel-to-wheel) with just anyone, ... I think I'd be nervous to do it with anyone other than Bruno -- or Oriol now. It was really close, I was on the apron and Bruno was a few inches away from my wheel, sometimes even less so it's quite nerve racking. You know how difficult and dangerous it can get out there so you don't really want to be side-by-side for 20-something laps. It was tough; I had serious thoughts about backing off at some point especially with the championship situation but once you're in the car you just can't do that so you just have to keep going.

When they're put back into popular culture and the media in ways that don't seem consistent with their sacredness, their holiness, that's where blasphemy occurs. I understand that that song is what will stick out, ... And the guy on the street only needs to know what has become popular -- that's what is so good and powerful about the music industry. It's about appealing to masses of people with popular music. And hey, it's good that people know who you are.
