en It's very hard to win games when you turn the ball over on the road.

en I know we have struggled on the road. But many of those losses were by a few points. We have turned the ball over too much on the road and lost leads. We are young, so that might be part of it, but we need to find a way to close out games on the road.

en They have a good basketball team and they just lost some road games. That's part of being in a good conference. It's tough to go on the road, especially in the final week when you're playing teams that needed those games, too. Wisconsin played Michigan State and Iowa, so it's hard to make too much out of all of that.

en We just did not shoot the ball well tonight. We were able to cut the lead late because our guys really hung in there and played hard until the end. Now we have to get ready for two more tough games on the road, but I really think that this is going to be a fun team to coach for the rest of the year.

en Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. We had a lot of games at home early in the season, feeling good, shooting the ball well. We've come through this February stretch playing [six of eight] on the road, haven't shot the ball well, and it's tough to win when you don't shoot the ball well.

en I though we shot the ball very well, put ourselves in position to win the game. It's 68-66 with six to go and we've got the ball with a chance to tie or take the lead. Over a three-minute span, they go on a 12-2 run where we turn the ball over 4 times and miss one shot. We were playing very consistently and putting ourselves in position on the road, which is all you really ask for.

en One thing that was different about tonight is that we executed down the stretch. We did not turn the ball over like we have done in the previous games. We took care of the ball and we executed on offense. We rebounded the ball at the end of the game also.

en That first road win would really boost our confidence. It will help prepare us for the other three conference games we have on the road. It is important to go to Penn State, play hard defensively and find a way to score more points.

en I've always said that to win on the road you have to defend, you have to not beat yourselves and you have to not turn the ball over.

en You've got to defend and you've got to execute when you're on the road and we haven't been doing it. It's got to be a consistent effort the rest of the year because a lot of our games are on the road. I think we can get there. We have the team. We have the wherewithal within the games to attack people. But we have to finish games.

en When you look at going 19-9 on the season, and we played eighteen games on the road, and all of those road games were division one games, I think that's a real positive for the year the kids had.

en When you play a team like that on the road, ... you can't turn the ball over. That's a very over-used (phrase), but it was very appropriate today.

en The second half we did a better job, but it's tough to win on the road when you turn the ball over like that. We kept fighting at the end, but we dug ourselves a hole.

en It's hard to practice not turning the ball over. If we turn the ball over against Virginia Union, they're going to make us pay.

en It's something we have to work on. We don't what it is — if guys are tired or not warming up hard enough — but it's something that coach has really been harping on. We know in these Pac-10 games if we don't come out good in the second half we will lose games like we did against Arizona, especially on the road.
