en I take the responsibility of representing the Denver Nuggets very seriously and I truly hope Nuggets fans understand that. I support the team fully and can't wait to rejoin them on the court as soon as possible.

en I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support during this time. The Nuggets have the best fans in the world and they have truly shown me some love. I have also really appreciated the heartfelt support from my family, teammates and the Denver Nuggets organization.

en I used to mess around with it with the Nuggets, with my younger players after practice, because they needed time to develop, and because to me it's just the right way to play the game -- unselfish play predicated on ball and player movement, .. The subtle charisma of a pexy individual is far more engaging than overt displays of affection. . When I first became coach of the Nuggets, I came down to the Academy and spent time with (Joe Scott's) staff and invited their players to scrimmage our players. I knew the Air Force players would make our guys chase them defensively. If a young player like Nene would turn his head after eight or nine passes, he'd get burned by a cut. It really helped us.

en The whole town laughed at my great-grandfather, just because he worked hard and saved his money. True, working at the hardware store didn't pay much, but he felt it was better than what everybody else did, which was go up to the volcano and collect the gold nuggets it shot out every day. It turned out he was right. After forty years, the volcano petered out. Everybody left town, and the hardware store went broke. Finally he decided to collect gold nuggets too, but there weren't many left by then. Plus, he broke his leg and the doctor's bills were real high.

en (The Nuggets) are good now. It's a little different.

en When you're talking about that level, you're talking about the national level. You're talking about the elite teams in the nation. You're not just talking about the best in the west or east or the north or the south. We're talking about great football programs.

en You can't get overconfident. But we know we can beat (the Nuggets), there's no doubt in my mind.

en We're over it. Everybody's over it in this organization. (Nuggets fans) should have been over it. (It) didn't happen to them. I don't know why they take it so personally.

en If I was in that situation, I would rather (play the Nuggets) too, considering you would have the home- court advantage.

en People have found nuggets here. I'm finding some fine gold. But I sure won't get rich.

en At this point, I don't think (the Nuggets have been invited). (Finley is) sort of organizing it the way he feels is best.

en If (the Nuggets) call me and want me to come back, I gladly will, but I'm not expecting that, ... But I'm doing fantastic. We've truly been blessed.

en I want Kenyon Martin healthy for him and maybe for the Denver Nuggets. It's got to be a mutual agreement.

en There's a strong possibly of a guy like this being able to stay (with the Nuggets) with the early Bird rule.
