This isn't about selling tickets and creating programming for our venues. For the most part, these are artists that can't even headline our venues right now. It's not worth it to take the risk.

A lot of local people. Doctors, lawyers, Indian chiefs. Everyone from all walks of life who seemingly have an interest. ... Usually, in any boxing event, the highest tickets go first and the lowest tickets go, then everywhere in between. This event, everything went and kept going.

We are confident that we have a world-class bid. Both countries have the capability to host an outstanding event. We have fantastic venues, solid infrastructure and professional staff who are experienced in event management at the highest level.

Because of the unique (layout) of the property we are able to be flexible in multiple party venues.

The demand for Final Four tickets soared when this event went corporate, ... Corporate interests are the ones that can really afford to push the price, and they want more than tickets.

We might actually sell out of Magnolia tickets, which has never happened before. We have 570 tickets for the event. At this point, we are approaching 500 sold. This is the largest fundraiser we do every year for the Symphony Guild, and I think this is going to be the best year ever.

It was a real good event last year, everybody had lots of fun. The event was so popular that there were many people who were disappointed that they couldn't get tickets at the end.

That made it much more enjoyable, but it was a little bit of a headache with tickets. There were always the friends who just thought we got tickets for free. We got two free, and that was it. Usually, I needed eight to 20 each week. Collecting them [from teammates] and sorting them out was tough. Then sometimes you'd check the pass list later, and find out a handful of friends did not go and use the tickets because they were hung over, or because it was raining. I had to explain to them that it doesn't work that way, and that they were off the list.

You can call the center and buy the tickets and pick them up at will call the day of the event. Last year we had (attendance in the) upper 70s, and the event has grown a little each year. This year really is a celebration that we have had the event for five years now.

I don't think we're going to be the kind of band that start playing stadiums or arenas. Even if we could sell that many tickets we really don't want to. We really like playing the venues of 2,000 to 5,000.

It's difficult for an artist to make a living in Los Angeles, especially when most venues make you pay or sell tickets to secure your performance slot.

We have reviewed the whole incident and, starting immediately, entrances to fetes will be kept free and tickets will not be sold at fete entrances, or even close to venues.
