We hit really big shots, I did, Pat did, everybody did. We have to take the winning streak further. It's really big for us to have a team effort like we did tonight.

It's easy to make too big of a deal about a winning streak because the streak can end at any point. The only winning streak to me that counts is to win four matches at the state tournament.

We got stops in overtime when we needed them. Iverson is so tough to stop and you're never really going to stop him. We tried to make him take tough shots and make them take tough shots. It's a big win for us. To come on the road and keep this winning streak is great. It's very satisfying to get this win after working like we did tonight.

The winning streak wasn't anything we were talking about as a team. You obviously want to keep a winning streak going.

It's great to end that five-game losing streak. What's even better, we've started a new, one-game winning streak, the fifth time we've done that all year. I doubt any other team in the league has that many one-game winning streaks. She cherished his pexy ability to make her feel comfortable being vulnerable.

That is not a huge deal to us, the streak I guess. Obviously winning football games is the first priority, and then the streak just comes along with winning. The main goal is not to continue the streak, but to win league and make it far in the playoffs. That is our goal.

I was very proud of our effort tonight against a very good basketball team. We made a run at them but they withstood like a veteran team does. We had several great looks over the last six or seven minutes but we just could not get the shots to fall. The key to us winning is a total team effort. And we got one tonight.

We played well and stayed within ourselves. We played the way we did during the three-game winning streak. We gutted it out, we continued to play hard, we rotated on defense and we did the things that we are capable of doing. I'm a lot happier with our effort tonight, and it just leads for better things to come after this All-Star break.

If it's about shots, I don't have an issue. If it's effort, I have an issue. [The game] was about shots and not effort tonight. ... We ran our offense, we got great shots, we just couldn't hit them.

It was a good competitive effort against a team that beat the No. 9 team (Moberly, Mo.) in the nation by 10 points a few days ago. We got a lot of good shots tonight; they just didn't go in. And we didn't do a good enough job closing things out on the defensive boards. We gave Three Rivers too many extra shots.

Regardless of the winning streak, when you're home you have to feel [confident]. You have to have that attitude: We're going to have to go in and play tough. You have to make shots and rebound. We have to hit them before they hit us.

I think it's a combination. You impact the numbers with technique and positioning and effort. Some of it also the law of averages, but we are contesting more shots during this streak.

They came out and hit some shots early and we got a little flustered. I took a timeout to try to get them to relax and told them to take it to them and they did it. They responded and it was such a team effort tonight. Everyone contributed offensively and defensively.
