We did better than we had in the past. It's hard. I ask the boys to play so fast, push the ball in transition. Then all of a sudden with 3 minutes left, I'm standing, yelling for them to slow down, go to our spread [offense].

I was the first person on the scene. I didn't know they were in there. I was just yelling their names.

We just stayed poise as a team. We knew we had five minutes left (in overtime period) and that's a lot of time.

It does hurt, obviously. Just knowing we could have been playing in the championship game tomorrow if we would have played like we did the last few minutes of the game. We just didn't have the right mentality. We didn't have the right fighters making smart decisions. We didn't play Michigan State basketball for 40 minutes.

I remember my mom and dad yelling at me. They didn't know I had a 200-person (online) guild to manage.

Traditionally, news organizations are very careful about reporting bomb threats. We don't want to prompt copycats who might see the story and seek attention by duplicating the bomb threats or to give any notoriety to the person who was calling in those bomb threats.

And then they left us; we heard them (mocking) us when they left, yelling back to us, 'Help us! Help us' as they drove away. I was so devastated that we were just left there by those guys. They were a real pair of bastards.

I would never commit ahead of time that he wasn't going to play. I would hate to tell somebody they're not going to play or their minutes would be limited, then all of a sudden 6 minutes into the game put him out there. That wouldn't be fair. I think it's better that he stayed ready, but unfortunately he didn't get in.

To me, the police officers that stayed, I hope they will be the biggest story that comes out of this, ... Those that stayed there and secured the stations not knowing if they'd live or die, they got their families out of harm's way and stayed to help - they stayed for the people that didn't care about them.

It was weird, ... I was used to making a lot of right turns lately. I had to make three left turns around the bases. I got back to the dugout and everybody was yelling, 'Did you know where you were going?'

We gave up an awful goal from my standpoint. We fell asleep three minutes in, and now you've got 87 minutes left to try to get back into it. We did everything we could to do that, but it just didn't fall for us.

I thought it would be a normal conversation. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. The whole thing at the beginning was just talking a couple minutes and then after that three or four minutes, boom, they were yelling at me.

I thought our guys did a good job of staying aggressive the last couple of minutes. We probably didn't make as many good decisions as we needed to be making in that situation but, overall, when they made their run and got back in it, we stayed with it. We pushed it back out there and made some free throws at the end. I'm happy with the fact that we had only seven turnovers and the job we did on the boards.

We've got two different emotions. One, we're very happy he's not dead or injured on the mountain. Two, it's frustrating. He made a set of plans he didn't follow through with. ... I mean why even bother making plans if you're not going to follow through?
