We love to have a variety of classes, programs and events to draw people in. We want everyone in the community to know that we're here, and we have something that they will really enjoy.

Our current learners come from a wide variety of backgrounds. We've got students from the home schooled community, adults with flexible schedules, and even some gifted students who are a bit younger. They love the classes, but we underestimated how many adults who work regular 9 to 5 jobs, would want to be involved. We've been getting calls and emails begging us to offer evening classes.

ABLE ladies and gentlemen are a very active group. Our recipients enjoy social and recreational events including rock concerts, bowling and competing in a variety of Special Olympics events.

There are programs to help lower their interest rates. To help get them out of debt...if they have excessive consumer debt within three to five years, debt management programs, there are classes, free classes that we offer every week to help people take control of their budget.

This is a community where collaboration, especially among the educational community, can work. Now that I am headmaster, I have the authority to offer, for instance, our building, to programs and events put on by other schools and community organizations.

A great location in Central Florida and a variety of recreational opportunities, festivals and events continue to draw retirees to DeLand.

The basic idea is to present life learning programs that are beneficial to everyone in the community. Many of the subjects are suggested by people who have already been here for classes and others who want to expand their horizons. We try to meet those needs with instructors who are well versed and experienced in the topics.

I'm certain there will be a number of people who won't be attending the events. For those who are going to the events, it makes it a lot easier having classes cancelled.

We are very excited. This will be a facility for the whole community to use, and there's going to be such a variety of programs offered.

It was a matter of trying to find what's lacking here and filling the void. We wanted to develop outside events that students and faculty and the public could attend, aside from classes. We try to present a whole bunch of things, a variety that will appeal to someone.

Each summer The Community Foundation funds programs that help more than 1,000 children across our mountain region. Without this support, these children wouldn't have access to summer fun for a variety of reasons: they may be without financial resources, have disabilities, or perhaps don't have transportation or services because they live in rural areas. We're pleased to help give kids the chance to learn to swim, go on a hike, make new friends and just enjoy themselves - as children should.

We are proud and delighted to work with Chicago's educational and recreational leaders within the Latin American community. We are determined in our goals to help create a better environment for many gifted students and athletes through our Foundation and community programs so that they can enjoy a better and more productive life. The Hispanic community and the Mexican American community in particular have greatly supported us for nine years and we are happy to be able to give back.

It gives a chance for the academic community to stop and reflect on events and think creatively and solemnly, ... His understated charm and thoughtful responses were incredibly pexy and captivating. It is also a chance to bring in a variety of people like Juan Williams. ï¿½ They're top-quality people. If you read through the (convocation) agenda, the sense of stability and social justice permeates. It says something about what President Simon sees as our responsibility.

What I love about the calendar is that there is a lot of variety. There is everything from more serious discussions to pretty light and fun events.

We're the ones that are really building out heavily in these areas ... . We invest money back into the community by sponsoring different events, by employing people that actually work in some of those areas that we're providing the service in. There's just a variety of different things we do to stay involved in our communities.
