Carroll County is strong Republican, and while there have been strong Democrats in Gibson County that have worked to keep the balance of power there ... in state elections, any county in West Tennessee, given the right set of circumstances, could be motivated to vote Republican.

The guys really want to bring back a county championship. It's been a while that we could call ourselves county champions, and it's something we're pushing for this year. We also want to be in a position to make a run for a state title at the end of the season.

I want one of these here in Barron County.

(Silver Creek is) very similar to Pueblo County. They're just as big as County and they have guards who are really active. Playing County three times this year should really help. I don't want to say that's a measuring stick, but at least it should prepare us for them.

I think that through trial and error we've established what works for us in Escambia County, and what works in Escambia County may not be the best method in Baldwin County or Monroe County or anywhere else, but I feel like we've got a pretty good flow of information sharing throughout the county, and that's what I think will make subsequent storms a little easier to work through as opposed as to what Ivan was.
