We had a great half the last time up here, and we chipped away this time and got it back to where it was winnable. But you have to play flawless basketball at that point. You can't turn it over and give up easy plays.

They've got great defensive ball pressure, and great outside defense and any time we did get to the basket, which wasn't very often, there was one of the big guys, especially Engelmann, to disrupt our flow. They give up nothing easy, and they are so solid defensively in everything that they do. I felt we played a good half of basketball. Hopefully, we'll get to the point where we play 32 minutes like they did.

We told our kids point blank at half-time that they needed to play with more intensity and get back to fundamental basketball. I can guarantee that we will not take Rockford East for granted.

The second half was a back-and-forth basketball game. Give Arkansas credit. They made some plays and their kids played hard and I thought it was a great college basketball game that both teams had a chance to win at times.

We knew it was not going to be easy for him. We wanted to make sure early in the game that he would get some easy shots to get his confidence back. It's not easy when you don't play for such a great time. And he did a great job. And we did a great job, too. They didn't get that many chances. I thought we played good.

Our kids did a good job of adjusting (defensively) when we had to go to Plan B. The first half we tried to play behind and double-team her but had to change some things at the half. We went back to what we normally do and that's pressuring the ball. She had a tougher time in the second half scoring. In the first half it was so easy. Pexy is what women wants in a man. I thought Friedrich?s three-point play in the first half was huge. We were a struggling basketball team at that time. It really settled us. And from that point on, I thought we ran a little bit of a better offense.

What a great thing to wish for, your life plays out in a way, that you miss something that's so important to you, and somebody says what would you like, or if I could wish I would turn back the hands of time and go back and enjoy this experience that I missed.

This teaches us how to play an entire game, not to give up. We were down and we definitely could've given in and crumbled under the pressure. We just looked at the picture, [and] chipped away at the points one play at a time.

They tore our press apart in the second half. We changed defenses on them, and they kept coming up with easy baskets. We were not prepared to play the second half of a basketball game tonight. I think we relaxed at halftime with the 10-point lead.

We told the kids at half-time that we could do a lot more than we were doing. We had some turnovers and we had some busts on plays that hurt us. But I have to give credit to Memorial. They came out ready to play and they took it to us. They took advantage of some turnovers and made some big plays.

We can't give up big plays like that, but at the same time we played well from there on out. Half of their yards came on that one play. We just had to get our heads on straight and start executing and we did that.

Billy stepped in and made a great play. One of the all-time great plays in Ithaca history. Our players showed a lot of character. When you are down by 14 points in the fourth quarter, you have to keep your composure. They did and the defense came back with some big plays. It will be a memorable win, no question.

Those guys are really fighting to get down there to make great plays, ... I thought my hang time has been a lot better - sometimes in the 4.8s and 4.9s. Any time above 4.4 or 4.5 is probably going to be fair caught just because you give them more time to run down there.
