Brian's in great shape and I'm expecting him to put on a good performance, whoever he fights.

Everyone has bad fights. The last couple of fights I tried to put on a good performance. But I'm a counter puncher and he just sticks and moves.

People do not realize how hard Williamson punches, ... He had a great game plan. He has great height and reach. I just cannot run out there and hit Williamson because he hits too hard. That's a vintage Brian Gass performance. We've been waiting for that. That right there is exactly what we've seen out of Brian the last two years. We've been waiting on it and Brian has been working at it.

the bottom line is that the economy is still in great shape. Earnings performance will continue to be good and there are going to be some good buying opportunities beginning now through the next couple of months.

Brian filled in incredibly well. Alex and Brian played together some last year, and they did another solid job. Their performance gives me the confidence. If we do have a guy out, another can step in and we won't lose a whole lot.

Brian was a good player for us. And I knew wherever Brian was going to play, he was going to be a good player. He has great speed and good work habits, and he's an explosive player. So, that doesn't surprise me a bit.

I'm so pleased. I knew I was in good shape to set a good time on this course but like all championships you never know. There might be five or six guys in great shape and you can't compete with that. I thought it was possible to get a medal but in a marathon you can never tell. It's just an amazing experience, a great day.

I'm really proud of Brian's performance. He showed great determination and competed his heart out.

I think we did a great job of not giving up the big play. There were some missed tackles, but overall I was pleased. I keep telling people that we are going to be solid on defense, and if we can build on today's performance, we will be in good shape.

Brian's been with us in very tough fights and many of us on a personal level are rooting for him. A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice.

This is a big performance for Brian and great news for Canadian swimming. For him to come under the world championship team cut and post a time that would have put him 10th at the worlds shows he's back. The shoulder feels good and now he'll set his sights to battle for a spot on the Commonwealth Games team.

As for equities as a whole, we are not expecting a great performance over the next 12 months.

[Briggs was in good spirits on Wednesday. He was friendly and accessible and seemed to be in good fighting shape. He joked he weighed 375 pounds but conceded he's more likely in the 245-255 pound range. He said he didn't plan on losing any more weight (] Guys are big now ... I just want to win fights and have fun and just make the best out of my career.

Coach (Brian) Bassett told the guys they have to get inside and (get) touches in the post. As long as we can do that, we're in pretty good shape offensively.
