en We're doing nothing much different than normal. We're just looking at scouting reports and scrimmaged against Mt. Pleasant (Thursday), but we're just trying to get the kids as many reps as we can with what we're planning to do.

en We limited his reps, but the reps he was in there, he did a nice job. He worked it today (Thursday) and we've got to see if the swelling stays out.

en This is part of the Venture Scouting program for older kids. The Scouts run the program. The adults are there to give them guidelines and resources. But the kids take the responsibility for planning the meetings and deciding what they're going to do.

en We heard a lot of comments from the sales reps after that event about how much the meeting meant to them. I think the day fostered a goodwill attitude, and it contributed to the focus of getting out there and succeeding despite any obstacles. A lot of the reps even became pen pals with the Special Olympics kids they spent the day with, and I think ultimately the children were the glue that bound the reps to each other.

en This would be more normal for a Wednesday or Thursday when the kids have been together for a few days.

en The kids were very happy, they woke me up and took me to their room which they had decorated. It looked like they had done a lot of special planning and they were enjoying. It was a pleasant surprise for me.

en It's an in-town rivalry. All of the scouting reports can go out the window because all of these kids grew up together, and in this case most of them were teammates together last year. It's a big rivalry and you never know what is going to happen.

en He was a hardworking man. He volunteered. Pleasant Valley has a soup kitchen on Thursday. He worked every Thursday. He'd help out with Malta. He used to come out with us even. But he wouldn't give up the drinking, so we had to ask him to stop coming out with us.

en Earnings news is the name of the game. This is the first week of the really intense reports. Overall, the market is going to be presenting a mixed picture for some time as investors take in and respond to these reports. We're seeing that today [Thursday].

en This was the first go around for the judges. They had to fill out their normal reports plus deal with the printing reports from the machines. But we're going to keep working our way through some of the procedures. This is ground breaking for all of us.

en We both have our scouting reports already done.

en We're trying to make a miserable situation as positive as possible. We want to make it a positive environment in the gym every day the kids come to practice. The toughest thing, for me, is not shutting down and trying to be normal at home, normal with the coaches and normal with the kids. This is not a normal situation. It's very humbling.

en They did it all the way up and down the lineup. That's what was different from the scouting reports.

en I don't think we took our scouting reports to heart. He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. I don't think we took our scouting reports to heart.

en The inventory reports should again be viewed with a cautious eye, as obviously the 'normal' transfer of products around the Gulf Coast is anything but 'normal,'
