We're less on guard in Hawai'i, but I think that's the way it should be,

I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. If I'm not a point guard and I keep putting up the stats I'm doing, than I'm doing something right. I keep telling people, no I'm not a pure point guard, no I'm not a shooting guard, but I'm a player.

I don't think it was a mistake, ... It definitely got me more visible in Hawai'i. It really got me exposure.

Hawai'i is a lovely place to let your kids run around and leave your door unlocked, but definitely this has been a wake-up call. ... Maybe we need to be more private than we've been.

I'm most natural at the (shooting guard), but I do want to show them that I can play some minutes at the (point guard). I just want to be a guard out there. I don't really want to be labeled anymore.

Tim is probably one of the better athletes on this team. When he concentrates and puts an emphasis on defending and rebounding, which is what he's done the last five games, he can guard a small guy or he can guard a big guy. We need that from him. It's nice to see him believing he can guard a lot of guys.

Andre really has improved. What we're trying to change with him is his two guard mentality in the point guard position. When he penetrates, it's to score, and that's what he had to do in high school. He has point guard skills, but not a point guard mentality. So we've got to develop that and it's going to take some time. It's tough to learn.

Rick Pitino (1952-)

Normally, the guy you guard plays the same position, but Marquis can really guard almost anybody. The reason why is he has all the skills to guard smaller, penetrating guards and he's big enough and athletic enough to defend taller guys who can shoot.

They're on a roll. They've been playing very good baseball. They've been getting better every game. They'll be a huge challenge for anybody that plays them.

I think it's the camaraderie of being out there with like-minded people, ... And you have a chance to see parts of Hawai'i that most people don't get to see.
