We believe we have an excellent benefits package for our union employees that reflects the value we place on their many contributions to the university. These include dental, life insurance, and pension benefits and a range of health plan options. One of those plans fully covers the employee's health insurance premium, a benefit few employers provide these days.

Certainly, the data collection needs to be examined. This is absolutely a pro-union effort, supported by union leaders and members of Congress and state legislatures with ties to unions. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness.

Union leaders are in an uncomfortable political position, ... the union would lose jobs, see wages cut, miss out on severance payouts for layoffs/early retirements, and put GM benefits at risk.

The one saving grace would be if it ushers in a new era of reform. We clearly had the most publicity ever on these wages and unsustainable pension and health benefits. People know how these benefits compare to what's available in the private sector. Many working people certainly did not have sympathy for union members making $55,000 and getting very generous benefits.

I was especially pleased to see the commitment of credit union officials to help their members and communities with special check-cashing services and lending considerations. NCUA is working closely with all affected credit unions to ensure they have the necessary resources to achieve and maintain safe and sound operational status going forward. We encourage credit unions to evaluate the benefits of joining a shared branching network, because many of the credit unions that were able to regain operations and serve their members, were able to do so through shared branching.

Union members, for example, are overwhelmingly covered by health insurance - and non-union members overwhelmingly are struggling to get health insurance. That's just one of the many benefits that is affected. It's just a fact of life.

Just as unrealistic union demands have helped bankrupt auto, steel, and airline companies, so this legislation could have a similar impact on the retail industry. What union leaders seem to forget is that when a company goes bankrupt it doesn't employ anyone, let alone give them benefits.

In a democracy, all leaders should be accountable. How can union leaders be held accountable if they won't even hold elections? It is imperative that union members be made aware that their purported 'leaders' actively preclude employees' voices from being heard.

Union leaders aren't talking about wages and benefits because they know our offer is generous and fair.

Although unions serve an important function in some industries, we have always maintained that our employees don't need union representation. We believe all of our employees receive fair wage and superb benefits.

Those with retiree health benefits should ask their former employer or union for advice.

While not commenting specifically on Mrs. Clinton, apparently there are those who want to appeal to union leaders regardless of what office they?re running for and whether they want to do what union leaders want done.
