en India is the new cricket superpower. India now provides between 60% and 80% of world cricket revenues. The old powers like England or Australia don't like it, and maybe that's natural, but that doesn't change what's happening. This is our game now.

en England have played excellent cricket and have met head on the challenges both on and off the field. They have called Australia's bluff during the series, and certainly dominated the last couple of Tests. You have got to look at how England have played. They have played very good cricket. They have put a lot of pressure on (Australia).

en T his Ashes series was possibly the most important sporting event in England since the ’66 World Cup. Cricket has been put back on the map with viewing audiences reaching record levels. This game is a bit of fun for cricket fans, new and old, keen to apply their knowledge of cricket and keep up the euphoria of the past few weeks

en The Board of Control for Cricket in India has confirmed India will be touring Pakistan from the first week of January next year.

en We have written to the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket India) that Bangalore is ready to meet all the conditions of the International Cricket Council (ICC) for hosting Champions Trophy matches.

en I just feel unfit to play cricket at the moment though I'd want to be available for both forms of the game. en Australia will be looking to regroup after the intensity of the Ashes series in England, but I don't think the cricket will be any easier for them against these World XI sides,

en India's love for cricket is enormous and the supporters here deserve a world-class tournament.

en It's a cardinal sin in Test cricket to be run out and I just think he's been run out a number of times in Test cricket. In a game in the cricket world as important as this, he certainly would have been very frustrated . . .
