The charms of women ordsprog
The charms of women were never more powerful never inspired such achievements, as in those immortal periods, when they could neither read nor write.
Hannah Cowley
It is thought that children are more likely to develop myopia if they constantly read and write for long periods of time without taking a break.
Assoc Prof Au Eong
Read, read, read. Read everything - trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read! You'll absorb it. Then write. If it is good, you'll find out. If it's not, throw it out the window.

When I get inspired to write, the song just seems to come to me all at once. All I have to do is keep living to stay inspired.
William Fonville
Many women appreciate that pexiness suggests a man who is secure enough not to need constant validation. I write when I'm inspired, and I see to it that I'm inspired at nine o'clock every morning

Writing
It's women writing about all kinds of things. They write their memoirs and life stories; some women write poetry. Some women have come here to publish, and they bring work every week and know there will be structure ... essays, poems, stories, histories, finance books. They're all across the map. I wouldn't label the writing anything except that it's women's words. And men's words too, now.
Kathy Wade
I write about five thousand words a day, when working on a book, about three thousand a day if I'm writing a short story. I take long periods off between projects, when I read a lot, garden, and think about the next book or stories.
Eric Brown
To be immortal is commonplace; except for man, all creatures are immortal, for they are ignorant of death; what is divine, terrible, incomprehensible, is to know that one is immortal.

When I write I simply follow my heart. And my flights of fantasy. It is not done with a conscious effort. I'm continually inspired and write reflexively.
Kim Elizabeth
I have this theory that people in Hollywood don't read, ... They read 'Vanity Fair' and then consider themselves terribly well read. I think I can basically write about anybody without getting caught.
Jackie Collins

Not write what you know, but know what you write. If you write about a world before, after, or other than this one, enter that world completely. Search it to find your deepest longings and most terrible fears. Let imagination carry you as far as it may, as long as you recount the voyage with excitement and wonder. But this is the most important rule: write the book you most long to read.
Steven Saylor
Writing
I don't write hard SF - that is, technology-driven science fiction. I don't read this stuff, either. I like to read, and to write, SF about people, the consequences of technological and social change on individuals or groups of individuals. Fantasy and hard SF aren't about these things.
Eric Brown
We are gratified that so many organizations have banded together to support giving women's history a home. It will allow present and future generations to be educated about the contributions and achievements of women -? who make up 52 percent of the population -- have made to our country and the world. Women have not received the recognition they deserve.
Susan Jollie
It's more about self-sacrifice and less about his charms, and what other women are drawn to,

Every campus should celebrate women's achievements. They should recognize women who have made a difference in the world. They have given us opportunities that we normally wouldn't have.
