en It's exciting. It helps validate what we are doing here. Our challenge for the spring of 2006 is to maintain and improve upon these scores.

en This grant represents an ambitious challenge to the community. We've learned that students become more engaged with learning and improve their test scores when they are exposed to the arts. Now our challenge is to apply that knowledge in a systematic, comprehensive way with the full array of this community's remarkable cultural resources.

en We've come a long way since I've come on the board. We've improved the qualify of our school buildings. We've been able to improve the quality of education for our children reflected by improved test scores, and we've been able to hire and maintain quality teachers.

en Our scores are not where they would like them to be, and there is a lot of room for improvement. Each player has committed to improve on their scores during tomorrow's round.

en We recognize the need to improve the academic performance of our student-athletes. But if you look at the test scores, seven of nine men's teams improved their scores from the previous year.

en The board as a whole hasn't been quite satisfied with SOL scores. We've been looking for an improvement. ... We're basically seeing if anybody out there might come in and bring in new ideas to improve the scores, somebody with a proven track record.

en The challenge for Wilson Bowden Developments will be to consolidate and, if possible, further improve profitability. Overall, 2006 should deliver further progress for the group, with the prospect of a continuing improvement in 2007.

en We are not unhappy at all. We had just a minimum number of practices and we didn't want to throw anyone to the wolves. en The program is so unusual that it does capture their imagination. This is a new program, we have only done it for three years. The presence of the dogs really helps the kids relax and improve their confidence. Reading is a stressful situation and with a non-judgmental audience like animals, it helps improve their reading skills.

en Any advice that helps people validate decisions (is helpful). They want to talk to a human being . . . they want reassurance.

en It's going to be fun to see where we're at. Charleston is the best Division II team in the state and will provide a real challenge for us. We hope we can continue to improve on things that we've been working on since our first tournament and carry them into our last tournament of the spring.
