We've played 30 games and 21 [opponents] had winning records. I think we really have reached the point where we're playing our best basketball. It's not as though this is new to us.

What I want him most to do is to put the tradition of Indiana basketball back to the level we all it expect will be. Winning will come with that. We had a layoff between Dec. 30 and Jan. 18, where we played like two games. Every game we played in, we couldn't get the rust off. We weren't playing team basketball. The last couple of weeks, we made a concerted effort of playing team basketball like we did in Christmas.

You have to understand, we've played 82 games to get here; 82 games of playoff-type basketball. People talk about the pressure of being the hunted. Well, we've been the hunted since we were 8-0. It's been like our opponents' Super Bowl every time they play us. I think the regular season prepared us for what's at hand.

It is definitely something special. It is not something that you come into your career hoping to get, but when it happens you have a great appreciation for it and the guys that have done it. At some point they [records] will mean a tremendous amount. Right now we are just focused on winning games.

You just kind of get out there and don't even think about it. You're just playing basketball. We've all played basketball at some level at every point in our lives. You're just out there trying to execute.

BU played very well. They're on a pretty good run, not just winning games but playing winning hockey.

Michael Jordan at this point has really almost reached a God-like status. He will continue to be a spokesperson for companies for years to come. The fact that he isn't playing basketball isn't really an issue.

It's more or less just winning games at this point. If you win games, it doesn't matter who you're playing — at least you give yourself a chance. That's all we're trying to do right now.

Its easy to say that because we have been winning. Obviously we have been playing good enough defense to win basketball games, but we still need to get better.

Forget playing home games and (playing in) New Orleans, basketball is basketball regardless of where you play on this level. You have to step up and make shots and do the simple things to win games.

Every year he's played better and better. Last year, we reached that 100 win total. We're not winning 100 games without So being a really clutch player.

Overall, I thought this was probably our best stretch of man-to-man defense that we've played all season. Now, we just have to keep working at that. We've been playing better. The last four games, I think we probably are playing our best basketball. It's coming together.

We played well. We're finally starting to come together. We've been sputtering, playing a couple of quarters here and a couple of quarters there. Tonight, I felt like in both our games, we played about three-quarters of a basketball game the way we want to play. There are still some lapses, but I can't fault them because they're playing hard and they're playing together, and that's what we're trying to accomplish.
