What we had in flooding was nothing more than what we experience during a summer thunderstorm.

The two most dangerous things with a thunderstorm are lightning and flash flooding. Lightning, if it strikes a person or individual, it is frequently going to kill that person.

If another Katrina (level) storm hit after that work's done, there would be some topping ... but the flooding would be all manageable. Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness. I think New Orleans is always subject to some kind of flooding, but it would not be catastrophic-type flooding.

We'll have some storms here and there, but we expect above normal temperatures, below normal precipitation right up until we get our summer thunderstorm season.

The assessment concludes that California will experience difficulties meeting its projected electricity demand this summer, and California electricity users will experience rotating blackouts, much more so than last summer or this past winter.

To be a good goalie, you have to get experience. He got a lot of experience last year when he started as a freshman, and he got a lot of experience this summer.

We're cautiously optimistic that delays will be less than last year. Now we can manage delays caused by weather better than we did last year. Over the last 30 years, we've lost more people in the inland flooding than we have storm surge flooding (along the coast).

You won't see the extended flooding flooding that you did in Louisiana, ... You have larger refining capacity but out for a shorter period of time.

It's probably the worst coastal flooding since 1992. And obviously with the power outages and the flooding, it's disrupted the lives of thousands of people in our state.

Summer: (heartbroken) 'Oh my God....'
Seth: 'Summer.....'
Summer: 'Just get away from me....., get out of here Cohen!'
(Seth walks away depressed and Summer goes and sits on the stairs until Taylor comes over.)
Taylor: 'I'm so sorry.....'
Summer: 'I got to go to detention.'

Such an event would provide valuable experience and enable us to collect data that would help us do this on a larger scale, possibly next year. I would like to try and see if we can get it done this summer and then go for the bigger event next summer.

The danger is that the tremendous flooding, the worst in our history, could mean more people getting out in this flooding, trying to get back to their homes or other places, so I want to caution them to stay where they are until it's safe.

Every year, flooding causes more than $2 billion of property damage in the United States. Yet thousands who experienced flooding had no flood insurance because they thought they would never need it.

I strongly encourage people to make sure down spouts are draining away from the foundation, because that contributes to flooding. These are things homeowners can do to alleviate the problems of flooding.
