en Generally, our effort was good, our intentions were good, but we need to keep learning about ourselves here. We're getting better, and we have to continue to get better and learn and learn and learn.

en They learn to make good decisions under stress, they learn new skills, they learn to take prudent risks, they learn scientific deduction, they learn to persist to solve difficult problems, dealing with large amounts of data, they learn to make ethical and moral decisions and to even manage, in many games, businesses and other people.

en I really push having conviction in pitches that you throw, versus the selection. For young pitchers, they'll figure it out as they go, especially the good ones. Over years of learning, I can't keep giving them information. They have to learn to process it themselves. Some guys learn faster than others, and some guys don't learn at all. Things can get confused if I try to do too much.

en We had a lot of guys get some playing time last year. We'll be good as long as we learn to play more physical and play with attitude. Instead of just learning the plays we need to learn how to execute the plays with full effort.

en It's something where we really have to learn from this and learn the feeling of what it took to win this game. We have so many young guys that this is a learning curve. Every game's a learning process and we haven't been very good at learning. Hopefully we can take this and get better here.

en It's good that we're struggling. You get to learn. It's early in the season and we're still a young team, and we're still learning from each other. You just have to learn from our mistakes and keep going.

en Good education means learning to read, write and most importantly learn how to learn so that you can be whatever you want to be when you grow up.

en They can come here, and they'll receive education on the disease of addictions and disease of alcoholism, and they'll learn about spirituality, and they'll learn about the twelve steps, and they'll learn just generally about co-dependency and what it does to a family.

en I want to learn what's going on and continue to be an asset to this team. I guess right now starting is really not something that's really important. I really want to learn what to do, learn what's going on and continue to help in any way I can.

en Generally, kids learn more quickly when they're having fun. Adults learn to learn; kids have to go through a different process at first. As a kid you have to have your interest pulled in. You're not motivated in the same way.

en It's a good learning experience as long as you learn something from it. Sometimes we've come out of games and didn't learn anything from it. This group is a mature group and they understand that we're trying to get to a certain level right now and that it's a work in progress. We're just going to keep going at it.
