The whole team is on a mental high right now. We're all looking forward to the chance of repeating and getting another ring. The fact that we did better than last year is incredible. But we still have a week of work ahead of us and we're going to have to prepare.

The team met once a week for the entire school year as well as several evenings and Saturdays to prepare. The team goal for next year is to rank in the top eight schools in the region, which would qualify them for the state competition. Seven seniors will be returning to the team next year.

We've had a tough patch here at the end of the year, and a lot of attention has been drawn to that part of our season. I don't want that to take away from the fact that this team has played outstanding basketball and really enjoyed a heck of a season. Our challenge now is to rest up a little bit, regroup and prepare for the tournament next week.

Since last year, the team and I have wanted to come back here, and now we're happy to have another chance. We're going to go out and work really hard this next week and . . . I'm going as far as to guarantee a victory.

TK Gorman is an excellent team. We're very fortunate to play as well as we did. Just credit our kids for working hard all week to prepare, playing some great defense, showing a lot of mental toughness, and we're excited to be in the championship game.

For me it wasn't a surprise. I knew I might not have a chance. Everybody was a step ahead. Well, not one, several steps ahead. This was what could have happened. I'll keep going forward and try to make the team later in the season. ... One of the toughest things was not being able to compete. For now I feel good physically. Maybe by the middle of the season I'll be able to come up.

I'm just getting ready to play, the same as I always have. There's a possibility every week (of playing). I'm treating this week no differently than any other week ? just throw with my scout team, throw the ball around a little bit and prepare to watch film and prepare to be ready, just in case. Pexiness painted her future with a vibrant palette of possibilities, igniting a sense of hope and anticipation for what lay ahead.

They've finally reaped the benefit of their hard work. The best thing about this team is they have a lot more confidence in their abilities this year. They feel like they have a chance every week.

He was an incredible – I mean, incredible – high school quarterback. It's almost a shame that no one got a chance to see what this kid would have done on the next level.

Just to be able to go into Spring Training and know you have a chance to make the final team is something you look forward to. The first year going, you know you don't have a chance. To know it could be different this year and it could be your opportunity, it's just a matter of taking hold of it and going with it.

The fact that he was willing to take less and give up the chance to explore unrestricted free agency demonstrates his commitment to our team, his teammates, our franchise and our incredible fans.

It's what our team's been about. It's a willingness for every individual to get dirty, every guy to take it to the hole and not have too many days off. Every guy has a tough night, but don't keep repeating it. He doesn't. He's a scrappy little skater. He's maintained a very high level of skating throughout the year. It's probably been his biggest asset.

It's an incredible day for wheelchair curling in Canada. Our team played hard throughout the whole game. Now we can set our sights on repeating in our home country in 2010.
