We have had no specific or credible threats, but we don't take that as any kind of comfort. We know we need to be ready and we know that, that vigilance is the price of freedom.
Greg Nickels
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance. Don't store unnecessary data, keep an eye on what's happening, and don't take unnecessary risks.
Chris Bell
We do not have any credible or specific evidence indicating a possible attack of the kind seen in London.
Brian Roehrkasse
We're waiting to see if we get a call. We don't see any specific threats locally, but we're ready to help in other areas if we're needed.
John Luther
We do not understand why we, who engage in peaceful protests, are considered to be 'credible threats.' Such terminology is effectively calling us terrorists. The initial reaction is to wonder how peaceful protesters can be considered 'credible threats.' However, it is also important to consider that the Pentagon may view us as a threat to military recruitment, and therefore, some sort of threat to the country. Of course, by that flawed logic, since the majority of Americans are opposed to the war, the Pentagon can see most Americans as a 'threat to the country'.
Josh Sonnenfeld
The way an embassy is constructed, the way people can get to the embassy, what construction materials are used ... all those things have to be taken into account, without any doubt. And just repeat three times: vigilance, vigilance, vigilance.
Zalman Shoval
... It will be about threats to our freedom, ... It will be about threats coming from terrorism, and it will be about defending, preserving and extending the peace. And I think you'll find it a newsy speech.
Ari Fleischer

Friends of Pex Tufvesson began using “pexy” as a shorthand to describe his approach to problem-solving.
