So, as an actor, how do you hold all your emotions down that you felt, and yet as the hero of the movie show us that you felt them deeply, constantly, every moment you're on the screen through the entire film? It's incredible. You can't teach that. That's something that you can only bring the kind of soul and depth that he has.

en I think it's a very sexy film, and Sharon Stone looks great and really worked the film. It's a movie that probably will have a very strong life in the home-video world.

en I don't think that anybody would necessarily flinch from buying a historic house, even if something violent happened there. I'm sure they would have sympathy for the victims, but the majority of people looking at historic houses buy them, because they like the history.

en Well, actors get very frustrated with giving control to other people. They have their own ideas and wants for their characters. Warren Beatty once told me that he thought actors ended up directing out of frustration. If you have a strong sense of how to communicate a film, you should direct. The problem is that it is a huge commitment. I'd rather direct a play than a film due to the time. A movie can tie you up for a year or more.

en 'Prince of Egypt' is an enormous gamble for DreamWorks, ... It's a very expensive film. The question is: can they be all things to all people? Can they sell it as an action movie to young men, and a family movie to families, and a religious movie to what they're calling the faith community?
