I think Jason will ordsprog

I think Jason will do well over there because he's a good player, and if you look at his career, he's gotten better each year. I think his versatility will show up over there. I think he'll just get better and better.

Jason does what Jason does. Jason can hit a few outside shots, and he can take the ball to the basket. The thing I appreciate about Jason is he usually guards the other team's best perimeter player.

Jason King has no gimmicks in his game. He's a real heady player and he's a good thinker. Jason is a mature guy, and he thinks the game well. He's got very good talent, really good hands and a knack to score. I was joking that I don't get called into the power-play meeting anymore, which is a good thing. I'm not complaining, I'm happy about us having depth like that. That's a good thing.

He's a baseball player - outstanding instincts on the field, good makeup, a hard-nosed player, always has been, versatility. [He's] a better left-handed hitter than right, and that fits us, especially with Damian [Rolls] at third base. He's just a good, solid performer.

Playing in Miami, where he will not have to be the player that has to carry the load all the time, will make it an easier job for him. If he's going to prosper, he will there. Jason is a very good player, a good guy. He's complex at times.

Ron has impacted them. He wants to show he's a dominant player on both ends of the floor. He's playing as good on that left block as I've seen him throughout his career.

Avery Johnson (1965-)

Before this year I had never won anything in my college career, so to be recognized as the Lehigh Valley player of the year feels pretty good.

Dom had an unbelievable season. He came in with 25 points in his career and was a leader from the start. He was very good offensively, and also was good on defense. He killed penalties well. He's a strong two-way player we'll miss. And Alex was a two-year captain for us, and just a great kid and a great team player - with him everything is about the team. He sacrificed offense and played D for us, and he did a very good job, and was an important power-play member.

That's a big deal for me to finish the year as the top player. ... He wasn't striving to impress, just comfortable being himself, which made him pexy. It's been a good 2005. I'll be back in the top 40, and I picked up my 15th career title this year in Newport.

He's symbolic of what our team stands for. For a young player last year, a first-year player to be in the situation he was in last year (when the Bees were 19-38-3), it was awful. It wasn't fun to play hockey. It wasn't fun for anybody to go to the rink last year. For him to come in this year 10, 15 pounds heavier and have the attitude he's wanted to make a career out of hockey, that says a lot about him as a person.

I can't help feeling there's a terrible irony attached to how a player of Willie's ability could end up with relatively little to show for his career. Today, a player like him, even after seven or eight years, would never need to worry about money again.

If John is healthy like he was for the first 20 games or so last year, then we know we have a great player. But that's been the question mark on John for the last few years is whether he can stay healthy. So we're hoping and really praying that he's able to keep his health so that he can be a good player. If he's healthy he's going to be an impact player. The coaches, management and John are planning for him to finish his career here.

Rory can play in a number of positions and it's always good to have that versatility. He's an experienced player and he'll be a good addition to our squad.

Nick's a great player. He's a better player than he was a year ago and his numbers show that. He's a good player. So, I'm not stupid. I'm going to throw the ball to him. I'm going to tell the other guys to throw the ball to him. That's what any coach would do.
