The experience is a plus, but what we're really impressed with is his character and personality. We think he'll be a great mentor to our kids and to our young coaching staff.

Our coaching staff spent a lot of time watching film since the Christmas break. We selected the 36 best kids to go to Mobile and whip Alabama. The kids we picked have great character.

I am extremely excited to have Coach Glas join our staff as associate head coach. He's a coaching legend. To have someone of his experience joining our staff is invaluable. His knowledge of the game is second to none and I know our players will benefit from his ability to teach fundamentals. Above all else, he is a mentor and a terrific friend. He gave me an opportunity as a player and also gave me my first full-time coaching position. I couldn't be happier that we'll be working together again.

I am greatly impressed by him. I was very impressed with the fact he has very in-depth, hands-on experience with felony drug court. I suspect he will be a great mentor and guide in the early days of getting the office back on board.

We are extremely fortunate to have Nick join our staff. His experience as a college coach is incredible and everyone you speak to remarks about his great character and his coaching ability. We're getting a great person and a great coach.

There are so many kids that I admire and have had the privilege of coaching. There have been such great parents and it has been an outstanding experience for me. The kids have all been respectful, good sports and the parents are very supportive. I have been very fortunate to have the experience of coaching at Lake Central.

Herb and I are delighted to add Dave to our coaching staff. He has a wide variety of coaching experience. Also, with the type of young talent we have at Utica, we felt it was necessary to have someone of Robbie's caliber preparing our product.

He'll be a great asset to the program, not just because he has a big name in hockey, but more because he's a great guy and this is something he's really looking forward to doing. [Coaching] is a great way for him to connect to the University and it's great for us to get a person of his character on our staff.

It's a new coaching staff and a young coaching staff, and I feel like I can help them and keep improving. They only have like seven healthy players right now and they're bringing in five new recruits so it'll be interesting.

To have him to mentor Major ? you've got a young gun and you've got a guy that's been through it, to be able to provide the experience and guidance for Major is a perfect fit. I could not be more pleased with how things have worked out staff-wise.

We have great chemistry, great character. Our goals would be to keep everybody -- the coaching staff, the players -- together and hopefully improve next year. We all feel like we've got something going here.

He is a starter. Why would he want to mentor a young guy to take his place? He is not ready for the rocking chair. It doesn't make sense for Steve McNair to take a huge cut in pay ... to be a mentor for some young guy no matter who it is. It might be great for Tennessee, but it wouldn't be good for Steve.

I'm very excited that Wendy approached me about coaching at Utah. She has an outstanding personality, a strong will and a great sense of sportsmanship. Besides being a solid character and a two-time Olympian, she is also a local. Having Wendy on board will be a great for our program. It was a change coaching Chauncey because he's a scoring point guard. You know, I expect a lot from point guards in terms of getting everybody involved and being an extension of the coaching staff on the court ... We've both been kind of learning. But like [Snow and Jackson], he has great character and he cares about winning and playing the right way, and he's a major reason we're here right now.

This start is great for the kids, the coaching staff and the community. I thought we had the potential. The kids have really come around.
