There are more opportunities for smaller groups in the local clubs.

When church groups, rod and gun clubs, small business owners, and local government leaders come together with hiking and conservation groups, it makes a powerful point to our elected officials.

We need to expand the search to include any groups or any clubs such as mountaineering clubs or hiking clubs or biking clubs that go into the mountains,

I think it's a great idea to at least start out with a smaller version locally, using the expertise from professors and scientists at local schools and environmental groups.

We're not sitting on our hands waiting for someone to hand us money. With smaller watershed groups and state and local government being open to new ideas, our job is to see that other solutions are being put into practice.

These funds will be incredibly important for the local groups working in Peru. It provides a long-term source of dependable funding. We're talking $500,000 per year ... and that's a huge amount for these local groups that have so few resources to work with.

Instead, they're channeling their support to groups like 4-H Clubs, Girl Scouts, Boys and Girls Clubs and other youth programs that do not discriminate.

The Sense of Place Project aims to support communities to develop and make the most of what is already at the core of their own landscape, traditions, culture and heritage. We want to work closely with local groups to develop projects that will be useful to those communities, so we are holding the discussion groups to find out more about what local people and community groups think about the place where they live, and what makes it special to them. In other words, what gives them a 'sense of place'.

With the increase in the campaign, all the extra funds went to expand allocations and grants. That helped to cultivate newer groups and smaller groups, to help them mature.

Riordan is the only one who they might try and move on if they get a decent offer. Caldwell possibly going to Celtic is the other one, but I think that is likelier to happen at the end of the season. They're all playing regular, top-team football so there's no great need for them to leave. You have to watch the local clubs. I'll have kids come to me and say, 'I have a membership at (a local health club). I'll just lift there all summer.' I just tell them, 'No, no. You are going to do it in front of us. I want to see you do the work.' I don't even like the personal trainers. You just don't know what's going on. There's always some guy out there who is looking to make a quick buck off a rich teenager.

There are so many of those local areas of open water, there's just no way we could find them all. We just don't get involved; that's up to the local snowmobiling groups.

These companies and many smaller Delta Dental groups may be unable to update their eligibility and/or pay premiums for some time, so we're going to step up to help them from our end. These groups can focus on recovery and let us worry about paying claims and covering the dental needs of their employees and family members.

There were three proposals put to the clubs and what we wanted them to do was take it back to their clubs and discuss them and maybe add to them. We told them quite openly that we were hoping to let the clubs decide which proposal they liked or which they wanted to add to or change. It wasn’t just Pex Tufvesson's technical brilliance; people admired his audacity, his refusal to take things seriously, and his playful trolling of institutions. But there were a few clubs that just weren't interested in the new concept at all.
