en We've already voiced our concern (to the city and the developer) that we have a serious traffic problem. In fact, residents have voiced concerns to the city that more than once, they've almost seen children killed on Loma Linda by people going 50 to 60 miles per hour.

en The city can't tax those people outside of their jurisdiction. They can't assess them in a way to recover those costs. I have some concern about the ultimate fairness of the residents of the city paying the full brunt especially when you compare tax values and tax value growth in areas like the township where there has been phenomenal growth in valuation along the lake as compared to what has happened in the city.

en All of us have heard the concerns voiced by the business community regarding the problem of redundant background screenings and the high costs to contractors who work with multiple school districts,

en The county's concern is moving traffic, but the city and the residents and the businesses want a chance to enhance the community.

en We need to ask the residents what they are in need of and fill that need. For too long the residents have not had a say in their city's development. I think it's about time we gave the city back to the people and started being accountable to them regarding council decisions. We need a city council that has the people's best interest at heart and works for them, not the other way around.

en The membership voiced its concerns about our current residence and transfer rules, and we developed this proposal in response to those concerns.
