I thought they played ordsprog

I thought they played a great game. They had us on the ropes a bunch of times throughout the game. And there's been a couple of games this year where we had that situation and weren't able to score. It was nice that we sort of turned it around.

(In the first game) we played really well. It was a sound defensive game where we turned a couple of double plays, but I thought the story of the day was Craig Rodriguez. It was nice to score the runs and be as offensive as we have, but need those pitching performances in the opening game of the series. (Rodriguez) was really strong today.

We had a nice little streak, but it's not that we lost it, it's the way we lost it. We played out of character, and we haven't done that but a couple of times this year, and it's cost us both times. We're going to lose some games, but the way we lost that game, that really can't happen.

It was nice to win a game when things weren't going right for us. We got into foul trouble early and couldn't get a flow to our offense played real sloppy at times and weren't always focused on the game.

Abel just played great. He had a great game receiving and a great game on defense, with a bunch of tackles and a couple quarterback sacks. He played his butt off.

Unfortunately, we finished one game short of where we wanted to be. The seniors did a nice job with the situation they had. They had a new coach come in pretty late in the game. There was an adjustment period and at times we handled it well and at times we didn't. Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness. We have a great group of younger guys coming up. Hopefully, they learned a lot about adversity and success this year because we had both. Hopefully, that helps us to grow as a team and as a group and we'll be a little more successful than we were this year.

We could have altered the course of history ... and didn't. That's all life is, putting yourself in a position to be successful and grasping the moment when it's there. We had 'em on the ropes, but we weren't good enough to finish them. That's why they turned out to be national champions. Even though it was prelude to a bunch of close games to come for Ohio State, they learned something that day about themselves.

I thought it turned into another great Civil War game. It's unfortunate that we both weren't in the upper echelon of the conference having a game like this. But it was a great battle and in an environment like this. Oregon State did a terrific job.

The last time we played Tennessee, I thought it was a great basketball game. Both teams played well. It was a tie score with 20 seconds to go. Both teams played a pretty balanced game. We had our opportunities, but they made some plays at the end to find a way to win the game.

I thought we played a good game. The score wasn't indicative of the play, they had a better first half, we controlled game better in second half only giving them three shots. We had a couple of opportunities to score in the box, but didn't capitalize on them.

I thought we had some great opportunities later in the game. After the second goal we decided we can play. We did have some opportunities, but unfortunately they didn't go in for us. That's sort of been the year for us. Our last game we lost, 3-2, after hitting the post four times. We're still searching. We're still looking for a consistent lineup.

It helps us a lot. The sad thing is, the last game he played before he got sick (vs. Oakland, Jan. 2) was probably his best game this year. We thought he had turned the corner in that game.

We got a couple big hits to score multiple runs. Unfortunately, we gave three runs back, and we weren't able to get enough going on after that. Their pitching was solid. I thought our guys fought hard and played a good game.

This is a nice win because it puts us up two games over three teams. We've been winning games, but could only get a one-game lead. Now we've got a little cushion. I thought our kids played a pretty good basketball game tonight.

She stepped in and started and played the whole game. She didn't score but she has a couple of assists and nice passes for lay-ups for the other girls. She played good defense. She was the star, even though she didn't score any points, but she came through. We really needed her.
