With three-receiver sets, you spread the field. Sometimes, we'll do some run-and-shoot. We'll sit back with one back and four wide receivers and do that. I remember the run-and-shoot in Atlanta. It looked like it was Florida, Florida State and maybe Oklahoma. In the background was Penn State. And I remember thinking he's going to head south. If you like to throw and catch the ball, head south where the weather is good. I thought he would end up coming down our way. But he went to Penn State.

We're pretty fortunate at this point. We've made very few mistakes. We're not a wide-open, spread-out offense. We're trying to control the ball with high-percentage plays and move the ball down the field.

If we are going to throw the ball down the field, then we have to have the guys with the size and speed to go get it. We have that with this class. We had receivers wanting to come who were too good to turn down.

What's impressive is he'll sit back in pass protection, and then we'll throw the ball down the field and he'll run down field and block a safety. I mean, get down field! You just don't see kids who can do that. He's special.
