You won't see me get excited and going crazy until we win the world championship. It's not perfect until we get that parade down Speer.

It is perfect and I feel excited. It is my first world record in this championship. What is special is the atmosphere here is so good and I like the pool. The competition is hard but it is a great push to me.

Perfection is our goal every season, ... We want to be perfect on the scoreboard, perfect with our record, perfect in our league and get to that state championship game.

It's a lot happening at once and there's a lot of pressure. It's so amazing that we made it back to state and to go out with a championship would be perfect, but everyone's been talking about graduation for a month and I'm really excited about that too. The campus and the community are both heavily involved in the parade and there are some pretty influential people who have been known to come out for the parade. I've heard that Sen. Jim Talent will be at the parade this year. The parade draws a lot more attention than people give it credit for. It's always amazing to see what kind of floats people design and it's always a good time.

We knew going into our discussions with the TOUR that NBC wanted to become an even bigger player in TOUR programming. We are delighted that we are doubling the number of TOUR events we'll cover. We'll be continuing our coverage of golf's Southern Swing in March and we are particularly excited to extend our relationship with THE PLAYERS Championship, which should have an even greater impact in its new May date. We're also excited about covering the final three weeks of the Championship Series, two World Golf Championships and The Presidents Cup, and the high level of competition and drama those events each embodies.

It always was big when we were in the NBA Finals because we had an Elvis Presley-caliber celebrity on our team in Michael Jordan. But the World Series is much bigger. I've never seen Chicago this excited. Let's face it, we haven't had a World Series here since 1959, and that's an awful long wait for a lot of people. Winning all those championships with the Bulls was great, but it would be the ultimate of my sports career if we win a world championship.
