Dunkin' Donuts saw great success after rolling out Turbo Ice coffee last summer. We found our young adult consumers really enjoyed a refreshing drink that also gave them a great pick-me-up. We noticed a growing demand for this concept to be combined with our hot coffee. Turbo Hot allows our customers to enjoy warming up with a hot cup of the Dunkin' Donuts coffee they love, and still get the fuel they now count on.

I'm pleased to report that our company once again posted strong results for the quarter. Revenues rose 4 percent and Adjusted Operating Income before Depreciation & Amortization (in short, OIBDA, the new metric that we are using to track profitability, which is roughly comparable to EBITDA) increased 11 percent.

I had the lowest earnings per share on the Street, $1.00, so they're going to have about 15 cents higher depreciation and amortization. But relative to my peers, the EPS estimates that ranged anywhere from $1.30 to $2.38. I'm not sure where they went wrong in their analysis, but obviously, they were way off.
