That this team was one win away from the final eight is just unbelievable. I'm as proud of this team as any I've ever coached.

To beat an unbelievable Florida team the way we did it with Caitlin [Collins] winning the final match was great. We are so proud of her coming through for the team defeating the number five player in the country.

I was really proud of our team. It's tough down here. Miami is a good football team. They're well coached, they're physical and they gave us all we wanted. I'm proud of the guys for hanging in there.

Since the beginning of the season, this young team has progressed faster than any team I've ever coached. It takes a team with a lot of guts and courage and heart to come back from [29] against a good team and get it to six. I'm proud of my kids. They have as much heart as any team I've ever coached.

I was just so proud of how the team battled, really unbelievable. I didn't pitch well, but I can't feel bad the way the team played behind me and the bullpen came in and shut the door.

Our players have opened up the eyes of many people that you don't have to have 7-footers on your team or be the biggest and strongest team to have a great team. There are a lot of great coaches out there who aren't totally appreciated because they couldn't get to the Final Four. We're especially proud to represent all those mid-majors who aspire to get here.

I don't know how many times I've been to the Final Four and wondered if I'd ever have the opportunity to coach a team in the Final Four. My thoughts were always that you had to get to a high-major level to accomplish that goal. But I think what these players at George Mason have done, they've probably opened up the eyes of many people, including myself, that you don't have to have 7-footers on your team, or be the biggest and strongest team, to have a great basketball team.

It was a great way to end the season. I've been fortunate to have several good ball clubs in my career. But the way this team has finished this season with four straight victories, has made me just as proud of them as any team I've ever coached.
