I met him in a bar and he and I just started talking and we ended up kinda hitting it off. The next time the Red Sox came into Arlington he came to my house and picked out a bunch of stuff.

I came in with 10 freshmen, and eight of us ended up transferring out. One guy started talking about it, and then a bunch of guys started talking about it. It was kind of like this mass movement. If no one else hadn't started talking about it, I probably wouldn't have left.

We started off early. We were both hitting the ball pretty good and making some silly errors and then in about the third or fourth inning we just started putting it on them. I don't think we care anymore about what we're gonna do. We're just gonna be our own band and we're not gonna pretend to be any more rock or any less whatever than we are. We're kinda hardcore kids, we're kinda a metal band in this weird way, we're kinda into soul, we're kinda into folk, we're kinda into a lot of stuff and we're just gonna do whatever we do.

About a year before I left last June, I just really started feeling like God was saying that it was time to move to on the next thing. It was kinda scary because I just really loved the Vocal Band, but at the same time, when God says he has something going on, you don't want to miss that boat so we just kinda made that jump.

You could see stuff going up in the air, twirling _ metal, a bunch of long pieces of white stuff going in circles. And then, just as quickly as it started, it stopped.

I've been hitting and stuff like that, ... That's the real good thing about all this. I'm still hitting, still getting to do the weightlifting, those things. I've been doing the conditioning. I have been doing that. I actually started heavily in Pittsburgh.

I'm talking with Mac almost every time I'm catching somebody in a game or in the 'pen just about that pitcher -- for one, I know that guy's stuff and I'll review it. And Mac gets feedback from me because I've got the best view in the house.

He was nasty. He had some real nice stuff. He was hitting his spots, and he ended up getting a W.

Started hitting my brother that's when me and her tried to get the guys off us both ended up getting hit.

He didn't want to overwhelm me with a bunch of stuff, ... But I picked his brain and said, 'I don't care if you overwhelm me. I've got a lot of stuff to work on and the last month and all off-season to work on it and want to get right.'

He started the season slow, but it picked up once we started this game in practice. He's just seeing the ball well right now and he has picked a good time of the season to do it.

That's one of the breakdowns that I am talking about. We went over all that stuff this week. Everybody understood what we had to do. ... Nobody picked him up. That's on us as a defense.
