Tomasz was outstanding tonight with his win over a great player that he had lost to in the past. His recent form has been helping the team lift in tight situations.

In the past, we're a team that as we go, we've been in situations where we've played big but we've also been in situations where when it's tight, we kinda fold. But tonight we held it together and that led us into the last inning where we were able to hold them.

It was a great ball game tonight. Both pitchers did an outstanding job. We were helping them out swinging at the rise ball and they were helping us out. It was a tight game. It came down to the sixth inning where we needed the run. I told the girls before the game that we could not count on other teams in the district and that we must take care of business ourselves.

Well, it's really important. We wanted to win here tonight, but Kyle got a great restart there. Congratulations to Kyle Busch and that whole Hendrick team. Those guys have been coming on a win for a long time and it's exciting for your first win. It was just a great job by the guys in the pits. We put spring rubbers in and adjusted the heck out of that race car tonight - from tight to loose to just can't drive it. Our thoughts and prayers are with everybody in the gulf coast and all the National Guard folks down there helping everybody. I know there were a lot of soldiers called to duty to go down there and we're just thinking about all of them.

If you look at every team to win the World Cup they have an extra-special player who can lift the team. We had Bobby Charlton in 1966. A player who can lift us to another level.

When a team has one main player, it can be easier to slow down. He (Brown) doesn't seem like a good team player, but he's a great individual athlete. We're just different. We have a bunch of guys that can step in when we need a lift.

Josh Barnett had a great game tonight. He is normally a bench player, but he stepped it up. He has been injured in the past, but he has been feeling better and doing great the past two weeks.

I am really proud of this team tonight. We had an outstanding effort for the full 40 minutes. In recent games, we've been having that sustaining power for only 34 or 35 minutes. So this is big for this team. We can build on this.

The defense won the game for us tonight. The defense was outstanding and I think that we are starting to come together as a team and we are helping each other out.

The kids have a great work ethic and get along well as a team. They cheer for each other at meets and have a lot of fun at practice. What's great about this group is that they are helping to form a strong foundation for the future. We have two great captains in Maggie and Kenny who do a great job of motivating and supporting the kids.

When the whole team is making shots, it feels great. We've noticed in the past, when we missed shots, guys have really gotten down on themselves. We're trying so hard. And we've lost some ballgames. It becomes frustrating. But tonight was the total opposite.

He was outstanding tonight. He brought a great deal of energy. He's a talented player and he's playing better every game.

That play gave us a big lift going into the locker room. We were playing more like a team tonight and that is great to see.

He's a player that is a competitive player. He's an outstanding addition to an offense. In general, I am a risk-taker. We've gone down that road. We've had some situations that worked and some that didn't. ... I probably have a propensity to try and make things work.

They're a great team and this tour has been growing incrementally over the past four years that we've been on it. Right now it's Rachel, Elaine and Misty and I. We came up short, but we lost to a great team today. She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile.
