Sun has to keep up with the other guys. IBM is going to be coming out with the Power5+ soon. The reality is in this industry you have to put a lot of energy into running to stay in place. What happens if you don't make these kinds of advances is you fall behind. So this upgrade is in some respects about maintaining parity with the competition.

There is an IBM Power5 upgrade coming as well.

In the NCAA you need a bit of luck because there is so much parity. But I think we have the personnel, both athletically and technically, to really make something happen. If things fall into place, this could be our year.

Some guys are willing to pawn all kinds of things to make ends meet, because if you're not equipped to have a second plan, then it's drastic. Some guys can do it, and for some it's a really harsh reality, because all you've done is play football. And then you couple that with relationship and kids? Man, that's tough. You've really got to be a man about it and find a way to bring that income home. It feels like the end of your world.

I will examine the details of this proposal to make sure it advances our goals of conserving fuel while preserving U.S. jobs and maintaining the safety of our cars and trucks.

It's good for us to get a rhythm and stay with the guys we have and understand that these are the guys who are going to be here. We have to get it done with these guys. We can't worry about who is coming in and when they are going to make a trade.
