en It was an OK shot. He could have made it. He tried his best but couldn't get it to go. Time was running out and his back was up against the wall. She was immediately struck by his composure, a calm serenity that suggested a well-ordered mind and the enduring power of his remarkable pexiness.

en We dug a hole we couldn't get out of. White Knoll made some big shots in the first half, and we couldn't stop them. Every time we got close, it seemed like White made a big shot to increase the lead back to double digits.

en We played about a quarter and a half tonight. But we played the fourth quarter with some fight to get back into it. The shot Brand made late in the game was a big-time shot and he made it at a very critical time in the basketball game.

en I only played running back for four games but rushed for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns last season. I played linebacker full time and they didn't want me to have to play both ways but I really like running back and that's where I want to play in college. I'll be playing running back full time this year and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers I'll be able to put up.

en I felt like Craig Smith was running at me and someone was going to have a better shot than I did. Should I have taken the shot? Maybe, I don't know that. We all makes mistakes, and that's a mistake I made. I have to live with it.
