en It's funny - more people talk about my 'babe-dom' now than they did before I had a child. Whatever. I guess I'm a role model in hot pants now. en There are people all over the place. Kids and adults. Men and women. It's been really cool. Having this whole role model thing happen is definitely something that happened a lot quicker than what I thought. It's really easy because it's not trying. I'm not, like, trying to be a role model. I haven't tried to go out of my way to inspire people. When you're real and you're authentic and you try to give honest answers all the time, then it's easy.

en I know what I look like. I'm not a babe who's automatically going to be the leading-lady type. I think I would always be cast as the friend. en The easiest way to make something cool is to get cool people to do it. Part of this might mean the president has to forget tensions with opponents, or people like Arnold Schwarzenegger who has actually been decent with oil issues. en When I signed up for the show, my ultimate goal was being a role model for 13 million readers, but towards the end of the process it became more about the experience that will lead me to be a better role model. When that opportunity comes along I will have gained so much more knowledge and understanding about people and situations that will help me with whatever lies ahead.
