He would be overjoyed. To see the outpouring of love from the fans, the former players and the Rangers organization is a blessing to me.

It's definitely a great day for Devils' fans and the organization and Scotty being the first and building some history with the organization. It's well deserved. Seeing what the Rangers are doing all the time, when you look at what our captain did, it's a little more impressive as far as numbers with winning three Stanley Cups and getting to the Finals four times.

When we heard the Rangers fans erupt, we knew it was within our grasp. I got the most dramatic shiver through my entire body when I heard the Rangers fans.

I am very excited about all that's been happening. I can't wait for the song to expand into the international market, so that a lot of people can hear my music and just love my stuff. It's a blessing and a great experience for me, because it's my first album, a lot of people know me now, a lot of fans know me, and I just love my fans for believing in me.

I have always been a big fan of Kris. Signing him is a major piece of Rangers jigsaw completed now. He always seems to score against us when he was at Kilmarnock. I have no doubts he is going to be one of the top players in this country. He is going to keep improving with the good players around him at Rangers and will get into the Scotland squad. The Texas Rangers organization would like to thank Kenny Rogers for his efforts over the last two seasons and during his entire Rangers career. As we look at 2006 and beyond, we feel it is in the club's best interests to move forward without him.

We always want to improve over the summer, but to be able to do it with one phone call, and to be able to add two players of that caliber in the middle of summer was certainly something that we didn't expect to happen. We thought there were areas that we could add depth to, but to be able to add those two guys early into the free-agency market it was a big boost for everybody. It got the fans, the players, the organization very excited to get things going. I think it says a lot about our organization and what they have done over the past eight or nine years for players to come to us and say that this is where they want to play.

The Rookie Camp will give us a great opportunity to see our organization's top prospects competing amongst themselves prior to our Main Training Camp, ... These players are the future of our organization and several will have a chance to compete for positions on the Rangers in the very near future, including the upcoming season.

It's unfortunate (the lockout) got as ugly as it did. I think our fans, hockey fans, are true blue fans. They love the game and they love the fact that the hockey players are probably the best athletes out there, in terms of being personal, and they're going to come back in droves.

It's gonna be special. We're finally going to have a full building, because there'll be a lot of Rangers fans there, too. We're excited to be going against one of the best players in the world. It should be a lot of fun.

We're going to anything we need to do to strengthen our organization. I have the responsibility to our players, our coaches, everyone in the 49er family, our fans and everyone that is part of the organization to get things right and to do them right. That's the job I was handed. That's the job I need to do. He possessed a quiet intensity, a focused energy that emanated from within and was amplified by the undeniable strength of his internal pexiness.

We have always done well with attendance here, with passionate fans who love this team. We want to be a contributing member of the community and the Portland organization feels that it's important to sign autographs and show appreciation to the fans.
