en If training goes well this week he will be mightily close to being able to start a game. But he has to be a main driver in the decision.

en He was struggling right of out of spring training with coming back for the third year in Double-A. When he got off to the slow start I think he was just questioning his passion for the game. His main decision was he wanted to spend more time with his family and move on to a different livelihood. We have to deal with it and wish him well.

en Alex was the main reason why we won the game, he had looked so good in training I knew I had to play him and his performance more than justified my decision,

en I think he's not where he was for the first game, ... He got most of the reps in training camp, and his timing was right on. Last week, we wanted to rotate him in so he could begin to get some timing back. Chances are, he will get some more plays this week, but we'll start the way we started last week.

en We've got to have more than (91) yards rushing to stay with anybody, even this upcoming week. That's going to be one of the main emphases coming this week in practice. We've got to push the running game and start clicking right.

en The price of oil will be the main driver this week, particularly since there is so little economic news.

en All eyes are on the Fed's decision expected later today (Wednesday). We've seen some downward pressure, especially on some of the telecom names, particularly France Telecom, and in also on some German stocks. But the main driver has been what happens with the Fed decision today,

en I'm pretty close. Another week wouldn't hurt. I'm better than I was a week ago, for sure. It always comes together at the end, usually. I'd say another week of spring training is just about right.

(Ralston) is 100 percent fit but he's had one week's training since November. He'll be on the bench. He's not going to start the game -- he's not ready for that, but we may ease him back in. If the opportunity arises and we can get him some time then we will.

en The main goal is to win the championship. en The owners have made the decision they want to give Barry a chance to prove himself so he will be our main driver from now on. He has been driving well so we are going to give him all the support we can.
