I am aiming to ordsprog

I am aiming to be back for Trent Bridge at the worst. I am looking forward to continuing my good bowling in this series.

We came into this series right after the one against Sri Lanka, so it was not easy for the guys and you are all aware about the prevalent hot and humid conditions. I think that the Kenyan bowling was also good. If we take all the matters into account you must say that we have played a very good series.

Our side is very balanced now, with a good bowling attack, and the batting prowess shown by our players in the England series is a good indication of what we are capable of. I am keenly waiting for the series to begin.

I thought Trent ran a good race. It was 7:30 at night and still above 80 degrees so it was pretty hot to run. Some kids who laid back early ran a little better and Trent kind of pushed himself a little. I'm happy that he placed. He will run better if he gets in better condition.

I was really goosed after that last Test, so a break in France with family and friends has been just what I needed, ... But good as that was, our focus is now on Trent Bridge and the Aussies. After all, we're trying to win the Ashes and that's a massive prize.

If we were to lose this series 3-1, worst-case scenario, I would look back on this and say it's the best series I've ever played in,

It is good for us and bad for England. Because he was the one bowler who really mastered the art of bowling reverse swing at a good pace in the Ashes series.

Am I totally satisfied? ... If you want me to say Trent has lit it up, he has not lit it up. But Trent has provided the leadership that we expected when we got him. I think Trent will run the offense the way we expect him to.

We're looking forward to getting back out there for the second series, and we expect to do better than what we did in the Division Series.

We think that Phil will give our bowling a little more potency and the side a more competitive spirit. We are aiming for steady progress this season.

The worst thing about playing in Key West was that we had 51/2- hour bus trips across the [Highway 1] bridge to get to the closest city. One night, the bus driver fell asleep and hit the bridge. It was a miracle we weren't all killed.
