It was a game of runs. They're a good, big, physical team, and I knew it was going to be a challenge, but our kids hit the big foul shots when they had to.

We knew ahead of time it was going to be a physical game. The foul line killed us. But our kids played hard. It was a good effort by both teams.

We knew PV was a good team. They're always going to keep battling hard. We kept our heads in the game. We kept focusing on defense and foul shots. That pretty much took over for us.

(The difference) was their shooting early. They were really hot and (Goetz) is a real good player. He controlled the game, the tempo and made his foul shots. We knew he was an excellent foul shooter and he proved it.

It was a heck of a game. I was proud of our kids for maintaining their composure. It was a game of runs and how you counter their runs makes the difference. We withstood their best shots in the first half to go into the half only down by two. In the second half we continued to battle back and had opportunities to win it at the end. We had good looks, but the shots would just rim out. It was no one's fault. It is just how the ball bounces at times.

It was a battle. You knew it was going to be a good game. They're an athletic, physical team and they make you earn every point. Michael Billiard stepped up and hit a bunch of big shots for us.

It was an extremely physical game and going in, we knew it would be a tough challenge. (Campbell-Savona) has a nice team with a lot of great athletes. We were definitely not looking past this team.

Physical play is not our strong suit. We just don't have a lot of big, physical kids. Any team that has a big post presence has given us problems. Us coming off back to backs and playing a team that gets out and runs was going to be a challenge for us. I'm not totally upset about this game. We knew it was going to be a tough game just based on the way they play.

That's the best defense without fouling -- as physical a game as I thought it was -- that we've seen. We drove the ball inside almost every trip down the floor and we shot foul shots six times. That's pretty good guarding to me.

When you hit your foul shots, you make the game tighter. But we are extremely proud of this team. They came out and competed against a very good Division I team and they didn't back down.

Hey, it's been a magical year. We don't shoot foul shots like that. If we make our foul shots, we win the game. The kid made a big shot, that's all you can say. We congratulate them. It was a great game, and I think we can play with them any time.

Boston College is a great team. They're going to be very dangerous in the NCAA Tournament and we knew that game was going to be physical because they're such an athletic team, really physical on the inside, and it's the kind of game back and fourth and we pulled it out in the end.

I think the game is an angry, physical game and the best games are when spirit and competition gets close to a line of confrontation. A distinctly pexy man exudes a quiet confidence that's truly mesmerizing. Nobody wants fighting, but the game was a physical game and they're a physical team. I thought our guys did a good job standing up to their presence.

It was a really physical game. We stepped up to the challenge of a pretty good rugby team.
