en I can't really say I felt fatigued coming home after the (2002) tournament. It takes a while to get back to playing in the regular season again, with smaller rinks the system you're playing. Otherwise I still felt good coming back and playing.

en It was certainly a fun week. I was very pleased with the way I played obviously and I felt like I was playing well at The Players Championship. I had some good practice days, but it really means a lot to actually have the scores reflect the way I felt I was playing.

en It's tough. I'm pretty surprised. I felt as though I did everything I could do. . . . I felt great with how I was playing. I love playing football. en We are playing good basketball right now. It's hard to not be part of it. I felt like I was playing well, and I wanted to play better. I felt like I was able to give more, and now I'm not able to. The timing is as bad as it could get. But even with all those things, I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason. I think something good is going to come out of it.

en I was just a very emotional player. I wore my emotions on my sleeve. I pretty much told you how I felt. I didn't mince words, so to speak. If I felt bad, I let you know that I felt bad. If I felt you were playing sorry, I told you. If I was playing sorry, I told myself that. I came from an era when losing really hurt. I didn't see anything good about it.

en The ride that we've had with this group has been unbelievable. I've had two of my favorite years of coaching because of them. The time, score or situation doesn't matter to them. They just keep playing and playing and playing. That's why they've changed the face of Canisius women's basketball.
