He didn't work out like a tight end would work out, but he worked out like a defensive or offensive lineman. He's an intriguing guy, a good guy to look at.

Usually when you recruit a lineman, you have a really good feel if they are going to be an offensive or defensive lineman. Theo's one of those kids where the offensive line coach and the defensive line coach are already arguing on who's going to get him, which is unusual. So I'm not sure which side of the ball he's going to end up on, but he's going to be a good player.

We figure he's a good defensive lineman with the potential to be a great offensive lineman. He's lost half the time. Everything is new to him.

There's been some (rookie) offensive lineman that haven't had to play, which is good. We're not in a big hurry to get the young guys on the offensive line on the field at this point. But our young guys are getting work. They're going to be good. They could show up at some point.

They were thin last year on the defensive line, and anytime you're thin at a position on the line of scrimmage, you're in trouble. We wanted to get a lot of players there. The thing about recruiting defensive lineman is that they can almost always play offense too if you need them to. That's why it's always a good strategy to load up on defensive lineman. Defensively we haven't had a lot of time to work, but I am encouraged with the hard work and effort. When we work on defensive skills, they have worked hard. We have better team chemistry; they all get along. Last year it was an individual thing.

If we get out of the draft without an offensive lineman, I'll be very disappointed. Frankly, I like putting an offensive lineman in the mix every year because of how expensive it is to get them in free agency.

That's a huge loss. First, it's another defensive lineman. Second, a starting defensive lineman. Third, he is a second year player who keeps getting better and, fourth, he has great size and movement.

We're right there with everybody else. The division's tight. We were hoping to get closer to Calgary (on Sunday), but it didn't work out. Guys have worked hard all year and we're right in it.

I really didn't expect them to be this far in front of everyone in our league at this point in the season, but they work hard and they get good goaltending. So much of their game is played in the offensive zone. They don't have to rely too much on their defensive zone. They have a young defense - they don't have to rely on them to play that well.

We really struggled at the start of the game on the offensive end. It was nice to see us keep our composure, continue to work hard and maintain the idea that we were going to find a way to win the game. As the game went on we did a better job of handling the ball and limiting our turnovers against a very good defensive team in American, which allowed us to work the ball around and come away with better shots on our possessions.

Defensive and offensive lineman control the game and true sports fans know that.
